At Boston North Training Center, our mission is to provide expert-led conditioning, strength, and injury prevention programs designed to help you reach your athletic goals. By paying close attention to technical details in movement performance, we utilize our background of extensive education and experience in Physical Therapy, injury prevention, and knowledge of proper human movement patterns to provide effective and functional Youth Sports Training. Our product is unlike others.

Sports Team Training and Group Training

If you’re trying to stay in shape in the off-season or improve your fitness between games, Boston North Training Center can help you maximize your athletic potential. Agility, speed, endurance, strength, and flexibility are critical to the success of every athlete, and we incorporate those elements into our Sports-Specific Programs so that you can best apply your physical skills. Our group and sports team training programs are also ideal for team-building, camaraderie, and gaining the competitive edge that can take your team to the next level and help prevent unnecessary injury.

 

For the health and safety of our youth sports training participants, our training department is overseen by licensed Physical Therapists with over 20 years of experience in Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Rehab. They’re qualified to offer injury screenings, including shoulder screenings for throwing athletes and tennis players. Screenings provide you with objective data to help you analyze and understand your current physical status to better prepare for the next season.

Sports-Specific Training Programs

We offer sports conditioning and agility training for all competitive sports. Some of our programs include:

 

  • Pre-season baseball conditioning and rotator cuff injury prevention
  • Soccer-specific speed, agility, and conditioning
  • Basketball-specific training with ACL injury prevention techniques
  • Off-season wrestling-specific strength and conditioning

Private Training for Athletes

Boston North Training Center offers one-on-one fitness training for youth athletes designed to accommodate those with sports-specific and injury-prevention needs, including those who are recovering from injuries. These programs are available by appointment only and target specific player goals through agility exercises, plyometric training, speed work, strengthening and conditioning, flexibility work, and suggestions for using our fitness center to reach your goals.
